Hi, I'm currently making my own browser with my own kind of UI. The current window state is normal, controlbox is disabled, border style is sizable. When the browser goes into maximized mode it then hides the taskbar.
Code in my button: Private Sub btnMax_Click(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As EventArgs)
Me.WindowState = FormWindowState.Maximized
End Sub
Update: May someone put my settings and put this button and try the code out? I'm just seeing if it's only my computer.

Hey @justinripecoding , Set the title to nothing, set ControlBar visibility to false, set the FormBorderStyle to Sizeable and finally set the WindowState to FormWindowState.Maximized. When you restore it back to normal window state, simply change the title back to whatever you want, set the FormBorderStyle to None and the WindowState to FormWindowState.Normal (I think it's normal, not to sure, you'll know when you type it up). Hope this helps!

I did all what you said. It's that I want to make my own control box. Everytime I put the maximize button and I click it, it takes over the taskbar as well. The form style is set on sizeable.

Hmm...I'll look for my border-less form code that I made a while ago, not too sure where it is but I'll get it to you asap.
