buttonitem1(the new tab button) doesn't have a location property sorry I wasn't able to explain it

Oh right, well if you added a button to the tabcontrol by right-clicking it and adding it that way, then you wont need to change it's location; it kinda moves along on its own

I tried, but it still does the same thing. the new tab btn in in the middle of the other tabs. Is there any other solution?

What kind of button control are you using? If it's something like the ButtonX control then maybe it's a problem with that, not too sure...

I right clicked the control and pressed add button. Then it adds a their control called buttonitem. I also tried switching the align, but no luck.

Try adding a regular button from the ToolBox instead of doing that, then just make sure it's contained in somewhere other than the tabcontrol and align it accordingly
