Hi guys,
My app needs to be set default to open .zip files. I heard that AirBrowse has this feature ( I know it is in beta ) so how to do it.

If you mean that when you click a zip file in the file explorer and you want it to open in your app : Right click on any zip file: Click "open with" and find your program. This is how to set the default through the user. If you want to set it in your program through code, you will have to set some registry keys. (here : www.codeproject.com/Articles/18594/File-Association-in-VB-NET )When a file is clicked in the explorer, the explorer starts the application process with an argument of the file name. To get the file name argument, put this code in your form load to get the file path: Dim path as String = "" if My.application.commandlineargs.count > 0 then path = my.application.commandlineargs(0) end if
if path = "" then 'do what you normally do else 'do something with the file path end if

Thanks chris, it worked. You guys are awesome. I will tag this as answered as soon as my PC internet connection problem has been fixed. I looking through my phone.
