How to bundle all .net framework in one .exe and make it cross platform? so i have .exe file but it cannot be open in mac and linux... the reason that I know is because mac and linux doesn't have .net framework right? so, it is possible to bundle all .net framework dll that my application use. and how can I make it cross platform?

as of now. .NET Framework is for Windows. But there is some project , .NET Core 5 (if I'm not wrong) search for it.

on mac and linux, a ported version of the .net (portable) framework is available. simply run your exe through playonmac (for mac) or playonlinux (for linux)

This is the same with Mono (a customized portable <older> version of .net) this works with IDE such as xamarin (recommended for non-windows)
the last time i checked, mono was matched with .net 2

I'm also making an IDE based on Mono, which should have an updated .NET framework 4.5. It should be released soon and will allow you to distribute it for more than one platform.

I was doing the same and bumped into the same problem. .net framework is currently at 4.5.1 however, the distribution available on mono is .net 2 Other ones aren't as stable yet.

Yeah, 4.5 was the latest version at the time when I started building it. @imformas Probably gonna be another month, or so...yeah, I'm lazy
