Update: i think i made a decent type of bookmark(credits to TechViewHD on youtube for bookmark idea ) but still has a problem, whenever i reopen bookmarktab(the name of my bookmark form) the record which i stored lately is missing.. i copy the exact code in the bookmark tab and make a setting for my "FAVORITES". And the Doubleclick event is not working. here's my code atm Public Class BookmarkTab
Private Sub BookmarkTab_Load(sender As Object, e As EventArgs) Handles MyBase.Load TabControl1.SelectedTab.Hide() TabControl1.SelectedTab.Hide()
End Sub
Private Sub Clearbookmark_Click(sender As Object, e As EventArgs) Handles Clearbookmark.Click ListBox1.Items.Clear()
End Sub
Private Sub DeleteSelected_Click(sender As Object, e As EventArgs) Handles DeleteSelected.Click ListBox1.Items.Remove(ListBox1.SelectedItem) End Sub
Private Sub AddBookmark_Click(sender As Object, e As EventArgs) Handles AddBookmark.Click
ListBox1.Items.Add(TextBox1.Text) My.Settings.Favorites.Add(ListBox1.Items.ToString)
End Sub
Private Sub ListBox1_MouseDoubleClick(sender As Object, e As System.Windows.Forms.MouseEventArgs) Handles ListBox1.DoubleClick Form2.WebControl1.Source = New Uri(ListBox1.SelectedItem.ToString) End Sub
End Class

The bookmarks won't appear since you didn't write anything that would add the bookmark items on load. I would try the following:
Private Sub BookmarkTab_Load(sender As Object, e As EventArgs) Handles MyBase.Load TabControl1.SelectedTab.Hide() TabControl1.SelectedTab.Hide() For Each Item In My.Settings.Favorites ListBox1.Items.Add(Item) Next End Sub
PS: Make sure that "Favorites" is a string collection.

Hey lotus , For Bookmarks : On load and on close you have to make sure that you both load the bookmarks file with the list of bookmarks (onload) and save the bookmarks to a file (onclose). 1. Create a Setting called "Favorites" (go to [Project Name] properties > Settings > And write "Favorites" as your new setting and set type System.Collections.Specialized.StringCollection) 2. Make sure that in the General tab of your [Project Name] properties that the checkbox "Save My.Settings on close" is checked. 3. In your forms OnLoad event set this to load all the bookmarks (credit to efwwww ): For Each Item In My.Settings.Favorites ListBox1.Items.Add(Item) Next 4. In your forms FormClose event set this to save all the bookmarks to a file: For Each Item In ListBox1.Items My.Settings.Favorites.Add(Item) Next For Downloads : What webbrowser control are you using (eg: the default webbrowser control, Awesomium, Webkit.NET, GeckoFX)? PS: Welcome to the forum

hey Nathan Lecompte(credits for efwwww too for the answer ) got the bookmark working Onload and FormClosing working perfectly fine, Thank you. the only thing that is not working is the Doubleclick event. now for Downloadim using Awesomium WebControl. AND LASTLY (if possible), need a help for creating a built in music player for the browser that can add/make playlist, drag/drop music to playlist and can play music from sites(which i doubt be possible).. i already created a WMP player that works but the filename has its extension (eg "C:/user/Music/bla.mp3") so i dropped it. any suggestion for this? PS: thanks for helping me,I REALLY REALLY APPRECIATE YOU KINDNESS cheers

Hey lotus , Glad you got it to work, for the problem with the DoubleClick event could you show me the code? For the Downloads: Have you checked the example which comes with Awesomium? It basically has a downloads manager with progress etc. More detailed explanation here: techviewhd.freeforums.net/post/73For the Media player check out the video tutorial I made in the Videos section or on YouTube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMK4Z_WMnxATo play a media file from URL simple set the MediaElement Source to the URL (has to be a raw URL though, like this: example.com/mymedia.MP3). I haven't made any programs to read playlists before, but you could ask Prezence for an explanation, he's made something similar I think OR you could try some of this (I just had this in my bookmarks): www.youtube.com/watch?v=AnrU5cdDblk <<Just go to around 3:40 and try that, To make playlists I'm not too sure....sorry about that. :/ Hope this helps! PS: You're welcome
