when error, program will show the error window... how can I disable it? and instead of showing the error, how to save the error to log.txt? and show "not responding" thing? tq for help

You can't take out the "Not Responding" in .net because that done using windows api(windows.h) but you can remove the error by using the following Try Your code Catch e as Execption [quote]Use e as the error so[/quote] [code]E.Message is the message the error is thrown E.Source is where the error is coming from End try[/code]

Well, you do not need to add the Try Block to all the subs. Just place it at the most possible top of your code tree. That means. If you have a form which opens an another form, then you can manage the Exceptions from the root try statement I think. Did not code in WinForms for a while.

Go to the solution properties and go to View Application Events > Then Handle the UnhandledException event (i think thats it)
