Hi everyone. I suppose Chris and admin could be able to helo me with this one. Guys!!! ?? What is the better way to load forms into panels.. The first thing i tried was puting the wallpaper picbox behind the panel and made the panel transparent but that didnt work. I then tried to put the picbox inside the panel and then bring the forms to front. but it caused flickering. can someone tell me what am doing wrong? is there a better way of achieving this. For reference look up hexadecimal os on youtube.

Ahhh for this you need to use MDI (Multiple-Document-Interface). The one down-side of this is the fact that the forms are contained in another form (to which you can dock panels to restrict the shape of the containment area), another downside is the fact that the background will be darkgray (I still haven't figured out how to change the color, I think you might be able to change the background-image however; not too sure), final downside is that there's an annoying indent/3d border around the form (I still can't figure out how to change that too). Appart from those downside's it should be fine. To show a form in another form, in the parent form (the form where you want the forms to show); go to properties and change the IsMdiContainer to True. To show a form inside (for example, a form called Form2), use something like this: Dim fr As New Form2 fr.MdiParent = Me fr.Show Hope this helps!

Yeah I get why, it's really ugly and restricted; that's kinda the only way I know of really :/

Ok So i made a workaround. Instead of adding the form to a panel i just made all the apps topmost = true. that way there is no lag and all the time the app would be infront of the wallpaper
