Hi. I want to know why animations in iframes are super slow! It just turns me off from using them

I think, iframes are generally slow... Your browser has to make an instance of a page, render and maintain it.... It is not a very easy to do task...
( This answer is from a person with like 6 hours of web development experience... So correct me if I am wrong)

Pure hypothesys....
I think it is more a browser implementation question... Since every game in facebook run in <IFrame> we can presume it is not renown to be slow by definition.
But the way it is implemented in the browser engine should make all the difference and this is what we observe in chrome vs other slow browser.
