Set the panel to AutoScroll = True, then the panel will automatically display scrollbars

Nathan Lecompte It didn't work. I have a VScrollbar. A Vscrollbar. And a richtextbox. 2 seprate things. Not one control. And I need to make the vscrollbar to scroll the richtextbox. I have set the richtextbox scrollbars to none on purpose.

I though your richtextbox was contained in a panel? Just contain the richtextbox inside the panel, make the height of the richtextbox higher than the panels' height and then just set AutoScroll to True in the properties of the panel...

Nathan Lecompte I can't make the richtextbox higher than the panel. The panel acts as a false margin to make it look like there is a margin on it. Like in word, how there is those 4 corners which you can write in and the other white space is non-editable...

Sorry to bring this back up but I really need an answer. I have a vscrollbar control docked right to the form. I have a richtextbox in the middly. I know how to make richtextbox have scroll bars but I don't want that. I need the vscrollbar to control the richtextbox's scroll. Only the vscrollbar control.
