Okay so I am fairly new to programming but I am really enjoying my time working in visual basic creating my own web browser, however, there are a few questions that I have for you guys.
The first question that I have is in regards to opening my settings in either a new tab or just so that it replaces the web browser itself, and then when closed the web browser opens back up again.
My second question is about the ComboBox. I how do I go about adding code to the options that I have added to my ComboBox? I am unable to find the properties for the options that I have added, with this I am not even sure if it is possible using the ComboBox that visual basic has to offer, but I see that it is used in the Lumia Browser settings, so it made me curious!
Anyway, thanks in advance for any help that you guys may give me!

EDIT: I am using the supertabcontrol (dotnetbar), but I will change this if you guys recommend me doing so. I am also using the awesomium browser control and I hope to stick with this as I previously used chrome priot to Lumia, and I am under the impression that Lumia also uses awesomium. Just letting you guys know as it may change the way things have to be done.

Hey Brodie, Welcome to the TechViewForum! To answer your first question simply add a new tab in design mode and set the Visible to false and CloseButtonVisible to false as well. Then to show the settings simply add the following code on a button Click event: YOURTABITEMNAME.Visible = True Please note that I've disabled the close button because otherwise the tab wont show next time. Simply add a button in the settings tab to hide the tab (opposite of above). To answer your second question it's actually quite simple. A timer is Enabled to True and in the Tick event I added code to check whether the selected text or item was equal to the text I was looking for, example: If ComboBox1.SelectedText = "Yes it's my answer!" then 'My command/function I wish to use ElseIf ComboBox1.SelectedText = "No it's not my answer!" Then 'My other command/function I wish to use End If Hope this helps!
